Pneumatic grips for ASTM D4073, D5147, and D6775 — automatic clamping for films, textiles, and soft polymers.
40–100 kN
Pneumatic grips use compressed air for automatic, repeatable clamping without manual torque adjustment on every specimen. This reduces operator variation in high-volume test programmes.
They are preferred for rubber, textiles, bituminous membranes, woven tapes, and thin films that tend to slip in mechanical jaws. Foot-pedal or software control speeds the test cycle.
