Cement soundness
Le Chatelier conditioning and expansion measurement on cement, clinker, and binder qualification lines.
Vector VTR-13-020 Le Chatelier water bath — temperature-controlled bath for cement soundness and Le Chatelier expansion testing per EN 196-3 and ASTM C151.
EN 196-3 · ASTM C151 · circulated bath · cement soundness
The Vector VTR-13-020 Le Chatelier Water Bath is a temperature-controlled water bath for cement soundness and Le Chatelier expansion testing — holding mould assemblies at the method temperature with stable, circulated water on a dedicated bench-top unit.
An insulated tank with circulation maintains the selected bath temperature while standard Le Chatelier moulds are immersed for the conditioning and measurement steps referenced in EN 196-3 and ASTM C151. The VTR-13-020 fits cement QC laboratories that run soundness beside Vicat, Blaine, and mortar lines.
Vector configures the bath for your referenced standard, mould layout, and internal SOPs — including setpoint selection, immersion depth, and traceable temperature control aligned with ISO 17025 practice.

Controlled water temperature for cement soundness programmes — from EN 196-3 Le Chatelier testing to ASTM C151 expansion workflows.
Le Chatelier conditioning and expansion measurement on cement, clinker, and binder qualification lines.
Method-aligned bath temperature and immersion for European cement soundness testing.
Water-expansion workflows with stable bath conditions for North American cement QC.
High-throughput soundness bays beside Vicat, Blaine, and mortar equipment on shared prep benches.
Stable bath temperature, mould-ready layout, and traceable control for everyday cement soundness testing.
Insulated water reservoir sized for standard Le Chatelier mould assemblies and routine QC throughput.
Set and hold bath temperature to the value required by EN 196-3, ASTM C151, or your internal method.
Water circulation promotes uniform temperature around immersed moulds — reducing local hot or cold zones.
Accommodates multiple Le Chatelier mould sets for busy cement and binder laboratories.
Bench-top layout beside Vicat, flow table, and mortar lines without dedicated room infrastructure.
CE-marked unit for plant laboratories, commercial testing, and university research.

Le Chatelier mould assemblies are immersed in circulated water at the method temperature. The bath holds temperature through conditioning and reading steps so expansion measurements reflect stable thermal exposure — not drift during the soundness cycle.

The open bath layout gives clear access for placing and removing Le Chatelier moulds between readings. Circulation and insulation work together to keep water temperature stable when multiple specimens are loaded for parallel soundness runs.
