Cement Mortar Mixer

EN 196-1 · programmed mixing · cement paste / mortar

Overview

The Vector VTR-1017 cement mortar mixer prepares cement paste and mortar with repeatable mixing energy — programmed low- and high-speed cycles, controlled sand addition, and bowl–blade clearance checks aligned with EN 196-1 and ISO 679 prism preparation lines.

Planetary or forced-action mixing homogenises binder and sand before jolting, curing, and strength testing. Timer-controlled speed profiles reduce operator variation in busy cement QC and R&D laboratories. Front-panel programmes support scrape-and-rest sequences where your SOP requires them.

The VTR-1017 integrates beside jolting tables, flow tables, Vicat frames, and compression lines in compact physical-testing bays. For programmed mixing workflow and rheological checks, see the comprehensive mortar mixer guide.

Industries & applications

From cement plant QC to mortar and admixture laboratories, the mixer delivers uniform paste and mortar batches before jolting, curing, and strength testing.

Cement manufacturing

Routine plant QC on cement paste and standard mortar — track binder and admixture effects before prisms move to jolting and strength frames.

Ready-mix & mortar

Construction materials laboratories preparing EN 196-1 mortar — consistent mixing energy across shifts and operators.

Building materials R&D

Binder, admixture, and aggregate trials where mixing time and speed must stay comparable so strength trends reflect formulation changes, not hand mixing.

University & teaching

Physical testing courses that link EN 196-1 mortar preparation, programmed mixing, and later flexural or compressive strength measurement.

Multi-method cement labs

Integrated lines with flow tables, Vicat frames, and presses — the VTR-1017 opens the prism prep workflow with method-defined mixing action.

Need a method-matched setup?

Vector application support helps align speed profiles and bowl clearance with EN 196-1, ISO 679, and your internal SOPs.

Key features

Built for repeatable mortar batching, method-defined mixing energy, and stable performance in cement and mortar QC laboratories.

196-1

Standard mortar prep

Programmed low/high speed cycles support EN 196-1, ISO 679, and ASTM C305 where mixing time and energy must stay consistent.

Speed

Timer-controlled profiles

Low-speed homogenisation and high-speed shearing sequences reduce operator variation compared with manual mixing.

3 mm

Bowl–blade clearance

Method verification for 3 ± 1 mm clearance keeps mixing action comparable across shifts and service intervals.

Bowl

Interchangeable bowls

Quick bowl and paddle changeover simplifies cleaning between formulations and reduces cross-contamination in multi-product labs.

Sand

Timed sand addition

Programmed sand introduction supports EN 196-1 mortar batches with method-defined addition timing during the mixing cycle.

CE

Laboratory machinery

CE-marked equipment with guarded motion for long-term service on industrial laboratory floors.

Vector VTR-1017 cement mortar mixer — mixing bowl, paddle, and control panel detail

Programmed mixing & operator interface

Prism and paste strength depend on how consistently each batch is mixed. The VTR-1017 automates low- and high-speed timing so Vicat, flow, and compressive results reflect binder quality — not inconsistent hand mixing between operators.

  • Speed profiles — programmed cycles matched to EN 196-1, ISO 679, and your internal SOPs.

  • Front-panel control — timed programmes with scrape-and-rest sequences for repeatable batching.

  • Bowl & paddle — interchangeable bowls with clearance verification for method compliance.
