V-seat jaw inserts for round bar, tube, and wire — ASTM E8/E8M, ISO 6892, ASTM A370, and related standards.
V-seat grips centre round and irregular specimens (wire, bar, tube, rope) symmetrically in the grip line. The V-bed self-aligns the specimen axis for more accurate tensile results.
Typically supplied as interchangeable inserts for wedge, screw, or pneumatic grips rather than as a standalone family, with multiple V-opening sizes for different diameter ranges.
