Manuel Blaine

Manual Blaine Air Permeability Tester

The Vector Manual Blaine Air Permeability Tester determines the fineness of Portland cement—and similar powders like lime—by measuring their specific surface area in cm²/g. Compliant with EN 196-6 and equivalent to ASTM, AASHTO and BS methods, this compact instrument uses a stainless-steel test cell and plunger, an accurately mounted U-tube manometer and a rubber aspirator to drive airflow through filter-paper disks. It delivers reliable, repeatable Blaine values for quality control in cement and materials laboratories.
